Eight hours after sunset, on May 29, 1892, around 3:00 AM, Bahá’u’lláh, the Founder of the Bahá’í Faith passed away, having been a prisoner of the Ottoman Empire for forty years. His final resting place is at Bahji, outside of ‘Akka in modern day Israel.
