Arlington Celebrates the Bicentennial!

Bahá’ís in Arlington, Virginia, gathered to celebrate the Bicentennial of the Birth of Bahá’u’lláh at two events over the weekend of October 21 and 22, 2017.

At the Top of the Town, 145 attendees enjoyed a program with Bahá’í prayers & readings, live musical performances, a wonderful children’s program, and an inspiring presentation on the Person of  Bahá’u’lláh. The program was followed by a delicious luncheon & everyone present enjoyed the fabulous terrace views of Washington, D.C.

In Barton Park, those gathered offered Bahá’í readings to dedicate two trees to Arlington County. Games for the children and plentiful snacks followed the prayers and dedication program.
