TaliaSafa at Weekly Prayer Gathering

April 5, 2009 | By | 1 Reply More

Talia SafaCome join us for our regular weekly devotional. This week we will be joined by musical guests TaliaSafa and New Creation. The theme of this week’s devotional is “”Let All Associate”, a song on TaliaSafa’s new CD. This title comes from a beautiful quote by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. The full quote is:

“Let all associate, therefore, in this great human garden even as flowers grow and blend together side by side without discord or disagreement between them.”

You can listen to some of TaliaSafa’s songs including this one on MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/taliasafa). Prayers will start at 7:00 and refreshments will be served. The building is across from Arlington Central Library, Metro-accessible via the Orange line, between Ballston and Virginia Square. If you would like more information about this gathering or about the Bahá’í Faith please contact us.

    Hi,

    FYI

The song “Let All Associate” is not actually a production of the group TaliaSafa, but is instead the product of a group called New Creation. It was given to TaliaSafa for inclusion on their album, Attract the Hearts, where it is credited in the liner notes to New Creation. Talia, as one of the three member team that wrote the song, along with her husband Safa asked the other co-writers if they could include it on their album “Attract the Hearts” to which they agreed. It has also been released as a single. If you are interested in learning more about New Creation and the “Let All Associate” single, Google “Bahai New Creation” and click on the My Space Music link.

    Thanks,
    Michael Derry
